Hi! My name is Meredith and I started Bowerbird Housekeeping in Portland in 2018.
Making a space look and feel right through cleaning and organizing is my idea of a good time, and hearing from my clients how their newly refreshed space makes their life better is so rewarding. I personally clean or organize most of the homes that book with Bowerbird, and work with a small team of excellent cleaners with an eye for aesthetic perfection.

I chose the name Bowerbird in honor of my favorite bird. Bowerbirds are known for creatively designing and meticulously maintaining sculptural nests (called bowers) that they decorate with brightly colored treasures. Like the bowerbird, I love to take a disorderly space and carefully craft it into an inviting work of art.

We work quickly but never sacrifice attention to detail, and a beautiful finished product is always our top priority.
